At Pix Brook Academy we are dedicated and passionate about children’s health and wellbeing, opportunities to experience new sports and activities, as well as sporting excellence. As a new school we benefit from state of the art facilities enabling us to offer a range of activities in both competitive and non-competitive environments.

Our school receives Sports Premium funding, a government grant designed to enhance the quality of PE and sport for all pupils. We use this funding to provide high-quality specialist teaching, a range of competitive sporting opportunities, improve equipment and facilities, and targeted support to raise confidence and engagement in physical activity. The funding enables us to offer inclusive extra-curricular clubs, inter-school events, and our annual Sports Day. 

We regularly review the impact of our Sports Premium, ensuring it delivers measurable improvements in pupils’ participation, skills and enjoyment, and share our annual plan and outcomes so families and the wider community can see how the funding is making a difference.
