Pix Brook Academy Principal Steve Adams is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr King-Mand, our new Vice Principal.

"as the Principal I am always preoccupied with making great appointments to the team. This process started immediately after Easter and I am delighted to say that the first round of recruitment for Vice Principal resulted in a fantastic field of highly qualified candidates.

We received over 20 applications and were able to hold a selection day at BEST house. I was fortunate to have the support of two highly experienced colleagues, Sue Howley MBE, chair of governors and Colleen Heaton a highly experienced governor who interviewed with me. After a highly competitive process Mr King-Mand was appointed.

He brings a wealth of experience to the role having held positions of Assistant headteacher at both an outstanding secondary school in London and a middle school. He was delighted to accept the position and will take up is role in September."
